Erklärung:
Die Phytogilden beschreiben die Fressbarkeit von Phytoplankton-Arten und folgen den Einstufungen des PhytoLoss-Auswertetools (www.phytoloss.de). Nach Deneke et al. (2015) werden die Phytoplanktontaxa in 12 Gilden unterschieden und stellen eine Reduzierung der Einteilung des Phytoplanktons in „morpho-functional groups“ durch Salmaso & Padisák (2007) dar.
