Einstufung als saprobieller Indikator (Grad der Zersetzung von organischem Material in Gewässern) nach van Dam et al. (1994). Es werden zwei verschiedene Einstufungen angegeben: von Coste modifizierte Werte (Lecointe et al. 1993) und Werte von van Dam et al. (1994).
